It was during a period of national instability and insecurity that God appeared to Isaiah. Isaiah saw the Lord, he acknowledged his need for cleansing and received it; he heard God’s call, was ready to respond and went.

Isaiah’s assignment wasn’t easy, but it was divine. God sends us into hard places, not to guarantee success, but to obey his voice.
